Initial Situation:
Ground floor: 2 x 16m in length with a rectangular Diameter of 380mm x 300mm. First Floor: 2 x 12m in length with a rectangular Diameter of 300mm x 225mm. All 4 of the Furanflex25 liners were installed within 3 days within schedule for the installation of their new fireplaces and appliances.
Project Challenge:
To maintain the cross-sectional area of the flue due to large fire opening sizes requested by the client to create adequate “draught” to enable the use without the requirement of fitting chimney fans. The fire opening on entrance needed a new flue creating as the original had been blocked.

Result:
Furanflex25 fitted to the contour of the flue, maintaining the cross-sectional area of the flue and giving a smooth insulated lining to increase the efficiency of the chimney and without any disruption to the construction of the flue whilst meeting the grade 2 listing building requirements.
